Editorial Policy
Last updated: July 19, 2026
Quizzes for Brain is a free learning site. This policy explains how we create quizzes, study guides, and articles, how we handle mistakes, and what you can expect from our content.
1. Who we are
Quizzes for Brain is operated independently as a free education and self-learning platform. Our goal is to help people practice general knowledge, school subjects, and everyday curiosity through quizzes, flashcards, guides, and interactive explorers. Learn more on our About page.
2. What we publish
We publish original learning material in these formats:
- Topic introductions and study guides that explain concepts in plain language
- Multiple-choice quizzes and practice sets with answer keys and short explanations where available
- Flashcards for recall practice
- Blog articles and long-form guides on science, history, geography, technology, and related subjects
- Interactive explorers (for example Solar System and Earth layers) that combine facts with light practice
- Personality quizzes and brain games for engagement, clearly marked as entertainment or skill practice rather than formal academic assessment
3. Editorial standards
Before content goes live, we aim to meet these standards:
- Usefulness first: Content should help a learner understand a topic or check knowledge - not just fill a page.
- Clarity: We prefer short sentences, clear headings, and examples over jargon.
- Accuracy: Facts, dates, spellings, and answer keys should be correct to the best of our knowledge.
- Original wording: Guides and articles are written (or substantially rewritten) for this site. We do not publish scraped pages or unedited machine dumps.
- Appropriate difficulty: Questions should match the level implied by the topic title (beginner, general, or advanced).
- Respectful tone: No hate, harassment, adult content, or misleading medical, legal, or financial advice.
4. How content is created
- We choose topics based on learner demand, curriculum-aligned subjects, and clear knowledge gaps on the site.
- Topic pages and guides are drafted around a learning outcome (what the reader should know or be able to do).
- Quiz questions are written or curated with one correct answer and distractors that reflect common misconceptions when possible.
- Editors review spelling, answer keys, and whether explanations are clear enough for a self-learner.
- We publish only when a page provides real learning value on its own - not only a button to start a quiz.
We may use software tools to assist research and drafting. Final published learning content is reviewed for accuracy, originality, and usefulness before it stays on the site.
5. Sources and attribution
Quizzes for Brain is an educational practice site. For established science, history, and geography facts, we rely on widely accepted reference knowledge and reputable public educational sources. Where an article leans on a specific study, dataset, or named institution, we mention that source in the text or link to it.
NASA imagery and similar public-domain resources used in explorers are credited on the relevant pages. Wikipedia and other encyclopedic sources may be used for overviews on interactive tools; we do not present those extracts as our only form of content for a topic.
6. Advertising and independence
Quizzes for Brain is free and may be supported by advertising (including Google AdSense) and related services. Ads do not decide quiz answers, rankings, or editorial conclusions. Sponsored or affiliate placements, if used in the future, will be clearly labelled.
Details about cookies and advertising partners are in our Privacy Policy.
7. Corrections and updates
If you find an incorrect answer, outdated fact, or unclear explanation, please tell us via the Contact page (email: contact@quizzesforbrain.com).
When we confirm an error, we:
- Correct the question, guide, or article as soon as practical
- Update related explanations if needed
- Note material updates on policy or legal pages with a “Last updated” date
8. User accounts and community
Accounts are optional for most quizzes. Progress tracking and community features (such as discussion) must follow our Terms of Use. We remove abusive, spammy, or copied posts that hurt the learning experience.
9. What this site is not
- Not an official exam board, university, or government assessment
- Not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or financial advice
- Not a dump of auto-generated pages without review
10. Contact the editorial team

We read correction reports carefully. Substantial verified errors are prioritised over general feedback.
