Every mission contributes valuable scientific knowledge while inspiring new generations of explorers.

Astronomy is closely connected with many other scientific fields. Physics helps explain gravity, light, and the behavior of stars. Chemistry reveals how elements are formed inside stellar explosions. Mathematics allows scientists to predict planetary motion and calculate spacecraft trajectories, while computer science enables researchers to process enormous amounts of data collected by telescopes and satellites around the world.

The universe is constantly changing. Stars are born inside enormous clouds of gas and dust, shine for millions or billions of years, and eventually reach the end of their life cycles. Galaxies collide and merge, planets continue to form around young stars, and powerful events such as supernovae and black hole interactions reshape the cosmos. Each new discovery helps scientists answer long-standing questions while raising exciting new ones.
